Professional coaching has the same approach as personal individual coaching as the coach is still working with individual people… however the focus is likely to be on work or performance related issues and the part they play within the organisation. Even so, performances at work, in education or training are very much influenced by the individual’s personality, experiences, confidence and approach to life.
Although we are working with individuals, there will have been a contract drawn up with the company to encourage a certain type of approach or behaviour that provides them with the outcomes they are looking for.
For the majority of individuals attending and receiving ‘company coaching’ there is not doubt that they will receive great personal as well as professional gain from the experience.
Effective coaching in a professional setting not only enhances team and company performances, but lets the individual see and experience the full capacity of their abilities, how to become more proactive and increase their confidence to perform to their potential.
Through thoughtful, proactive coaching, individuals learn a lot about themselves which can help them lead happier, more balanced lives. The tools and techniques learned can then be transferred and used effectively in their personal lives.
When engaged in professional coaching many different techniques can be used, including Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Motivational Coaching and other similarly effective techniques.
Coaching/training courses are practical and fully participation based, with the emphasis on an enjoyable learning experience.
